Questions 4 & 5

Holly is starting to get over her allergy issue. She still has the sniffles but not as bad. Today she was saying that her boobies were sore - lets just hope that's a real symptom of pregnancy and not AF lurking around the corner. Only 6 more days till test time!

What did you both want to be when you grew up?

I remember always wanting to be an EMT or a nurse when I was young. But as I grew up and realized that involved blood, I decided to pursue my career with computers where I could work in an office. Today, I work as a quality assurance specialist for a software development company.

Holly always wanted to be a marine biologist when she was young. She actually had the books on marine biology and ocean life when she was a kid. Her favorite theme park today is Sea World because she gets to see the whales, dolphins, seals and all the other animals. Today, Holly is a pre-school teacher. Even though it isn't marine biology, she still loves her job and would do it for free if we didn't need the money so much.

How long have you guys been together and how did you meet?

We met at a local lesbian bar called Faces here in Orlando. I was there with a girl I was dating at the time, Lisa, and Holly was there with her date, Tara. Well Lisa and Tara already knew one another and introduced me to Holly. Because I'm so smooth (haha), I was able to get Holly to dance with me. I think it was my dance moves that turned her on. lol That night we left with our dates but I couldn't stop thinking about Holly. ***Before I continue I should let all of you know that the dates we were with were just friends to keep us company at the time. They weren't anything serious.***

Now that's out of the way.... lets fast forward to my birthday - September. Holly and Tara were no longer dating but Tara and I were now friends. Tara and I were chatting on instant messenger about what I wanted for my birthday. I told Tara that I wanted a lap dance, remembering that Tara doesn't dance. When Tara told me that she doesn't dance, I countered with, "I know, but your friend Holly does". So Tara called Holly and told her what I wanted and then Holly called me. We started talking on the phone on and off for a few weeks and each time, Holly told me that she would give me a lap dance the next time she saw me.

I didn't realize that next time would be at a bar called Back Booth. Holly was there on a blind date. When I saw her, I gave her a big hug and reminded her of her promise. After she included her date in on what was happening, I began to hop up on a stool for my lap dance. At that very moment, my feet swept from under me and I landed right on my butt! I was SO embarrassed! This was the girl I was trying to impress and I had to fall right on my ass! Holly helped me up and asked me if I was ok then helped me on the stool so I could get my lap dance. *shaking head* ugh... I still can't believe I was that clumsy!

It took us a couple months for our actual 'first date' because I was playing hard to get. But our first date also included our first kiss which was powerful enough to silence a room full of strangers. In true lesbian fashion, we were living together a month later. This October will be 6 years and she is still able to silence a room full of strangers when she kisses me. :)
